Safe Haven

"Safe Haven - It's Up to You" is a three-part video training to educate individuals to recognize behavior patterns of potential abusers and provide proactive measures for preventing abuse in any context.

Who is Required to Complete This?
All church employees and volunteers who are over the age of 18 and who plan to work or volunteer, or participate in any capacity with children or vulnerable adults, MUST complete the Archdiocesan Safe Environment Training along with a criminal background check. 

How Long Does My Training Stay Valid?
Safe Haven training must be renewed every 5 years, along with a new background check if you will continue to volunteer or work at the parish.
